South Florida Water Management District

When the St. Lucie River and Indian River Lagoon severely impacted by water releases from Lake Okeechobee in 2005, the South Florida Water Management District needed to communicate with Martin and St. Lucie County residents about what was happening and why.
They also needed to inform the public about the District’s role, mission and work plan for solutions to this difficult situation.
